Dead or Alive is a card game featuring the most (in)famous criminals in history. Commissioned by Magma and Laurence King, the deck features 32 colourful portraits.
Inspired by the real vintage photographs of the individuals, the portraits were illustrated in watercolour and ink.
Colour is used throughout the series as a mood indicator, aiming for the portrait to capture not only the likeness with the character but also their personality.
